THE VOICE BEHIND THE RECENT MELODY SENSATION

The recent blockbuster Thani Oruvan featured the lilting melody duet Kannala Kannala filmed on the lead pair in a beach set-up. The song was sung by singers Kaushik Krish and Padmalatha. This happens to be Kaushik's first film song and he is very thrilled as expected, with the response to the song and the film. The song's official clip in YouTube has clocked more than 1.3 million views already. In a quick chat, he opens up

 

"I have known Adhi anna for about 3 to 4 years. Through programmer Jeeva, I was introduced to him. I have worked with him in the RR of Aambala and was supposed to sing earlier in Indru Netru Naalai but it didn't happen. Finally it clicked in Thani Oruvan, as director Raja also liked my voice. The song has worked out and my debut number has become a huge hit. It's a happy feeling.

 

I am also singing for Adhi anna in Aranmanai 2. Then there is a single track album that I am working on, and we will shoot its video soon".
