A HAT-TRICK FOR KAMAL HAASAN?

Kamal Haasan after his last successful outing Papanasam with Jeethu Joseph, immediately started his next project Thoongavanam. The film is directed by his erstwhile associate Rajesh M Selva and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International along with Wide Angle Creations.

This project is a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu (Cheekati Rajyam) and features besides Ulaganayagan, Trisha, Prakash Raj, Kishore, Sampath, Asha Sharath and others. Cinematography is by Sanu Varughese and music is by Ghibran.

The film went on floors a couple of months back and was shot in Hyderabad and Chennai. The latest we hear on this is that the shooting is completed and the film has gone into its post-production phase. Sources close to the team reveal that the film has turned out well and stylish too. 

Lead heroine Trisha also recently tweeted, “THOONGAVANAM...Last leg of shoot, So bloody kicked !!! #song #action #shoot #punch #challenged”

If Thoongavanam hits the screens this year, then, it would be a hat-trick of sorts for Kamal who has had two releases in this year in the form of Uttama Villain and Papanasam
