WHY JYOTHIKA FOR RAGHAVA LAWRENCE?

Raghava Lawrence recently announced two films with Vendhar Movies that are titled Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva and Naagaa. The genres of the films are yet to be known but there are talks in the industry that the choreographer has approached Jyothika for his films.

Having tasted success with his ghost franchise Kanchana/Muni and assuming that Lawrence may want to continue his success streak with the same genre in his upcoming films too, there could be an answer to why he is said to have approached Jyothika.

We all know that Jyothika delivered a mind-blowing performance as a possessed girl in Chandramukhi. Her body language and portrayal came in for a huge applause. Perhaps Lawrence has a very strong character in his film that is perfect for the Kushi heroine on the lines of Chandramukhi.

However, Jyothika’s comeback vehicle 36 Vayadhinile was a social theme and we are not yet sure of her preferences of scripts. But it sure would be nice to see the talented actress in a performance-centric role once again. Waiting for official word on this!
