From an honest detective to an illegal car racer!

Thegidi, Soodhu Kavvum and Pizza fame CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment is all geared up with his next venture titled '144' directed by Manikandan.

The film starring Mirchi Shiva, Ashok Selvan, Oviya and Shruthi Ramakrishna in the lead roles went on floors yesterday. The music director of this film is Sean Roldan, while the cinematography is taken care by Gurudev. Leo John Paul handles the cuts.

The first schedule of the film will be taking place in Madurai and when Behindwoods spoke to the promising young actor Ashok Selvan regarding the film, he replied “First day of shoot for 144... I portray a role of an illegal car racer in the film. I personally love speed and like to get high on speed. I am told that I would be doing some risky stunt scenes too. Looking forward to race in front of the camera. Shruthi Ramakrishna will be my on-screen pair in 144” 

Looks like Ashok Selvan would be shifting gear from an honest detective in Thegidi to an illegal car racer in 144!
