Starting from Gentleman down to the latest 'I', director Shankar has always been someone who thinks big and delivers even bigger. He is synonymous with the terms 'larger than life' and 'blockbuster'. Ask any superstar in the Indian film industry, and he/she would reply that Shankar would be their dream director. Almost all his films have earned the big bucks across all markets, and just his name is enough to pull in masses by the droves to cinema halls.

 

The ace turns 52 today, August 17, and with all the buzz on whether he is making Enthiran 2 or not, the coming months promise to be really exciting for all fans of this legend. Is it going to be Rajini and Vikram with Shankar in Enthiran 2 as speculated? If that indeed happens, then the Indian film fraternity is bound to be turned upside down in anticipation.
