Shankar confirms his upcoming movie...

We earlier reported that Shankar's S Pictures, after a brief sabbatical, has bought the release rights of Kappal directed by newcomer Karthick G Krish, his former assistant. The master director, himself, tweeted, "S pictures is back with a rom-com, Kappal, directed by my former assistant, Karthik. Saw the movie, its a laugh riot from beginning to the end."

 

Kappal stars Vaibhav and Sonam Bajwa, in the lead roles. Natarajan Sankaran, who impressed in movies such as Moodar Koodam and Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum takes care of the music department.

 

Director Shankar always chooses offbeat movies for his production house. Will Kappal follow the road of Kaadhal, Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi, Kalloori, and Eeram? Let's wait and watch.
