AR Murugadoss' assistant is all set ...

"I have a strong affinity towards the media world," said Santhosh, director of Kanithan and a former assistant of A.R.Murugadoss. The film starring Atharvaa and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles is in its last leg of post production work.

When our Behindwoods correspondent spoke to Santhosh about his first directorial venture, Kanithan, he said, "This film deals with an off-beat subject and has a very interesting plot. It is an investigative story that revolves around the television medium." When asked about the status of this project he said, "The re-recording is almost over and we are yet to shoot just one song."

He further said that the audio will be released by the end of March and the film will be set to hit the screens by the end of April.
