More from Vijay Sethupathi in a week?

After a much appreciated Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, Vijay Sethupathi has been keeping himself busy with the other films he has signed up for. Mellisai, one of his upcoming projects, has apparently an interesting story line. This musical romance is nearing wrap up, with just 25% of the shooting left.

The team was spotted recently shooting at Fortis Healthcare, Vadapalani. When we got in touch with the director of the movie, Ranjit Jeyakodi, he informed us that he and his team are planning to wrap up the Chennai schedule in a week’s time. “We are currently looking for a picturesque hill station, where we can shoot the rest of the movie.”

There are five songs in the movie, of which one is yet to be shot. “The last song will also be shot in this Chennai schedule,” adds Ranjit.

He also hinted that the first look poster of the film will be out in a week. Mellisai, produced by Rebel Studios, stars Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie and also features the lens work of Soodhu Kavvum fame Dinesh Krishnan. Newbie Sam CS is scoring music for the film.
