''All rumors about the Kaththi issue are baseless''
Aug 03, 2014We earlier reported about the rumors regarding the alleged association of Kaththi's producers - Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions - with the Sri Lankan government. To put things in perspective, AR Murugadoss along with Ayngaran International's Karunamoorthi had met Tamil political leaders Pazha Nedumaran, Thirumavalavan and Seeman. AR Murugadoss also tweeted that the team will meet leader Vaiko as well.
Director Vikraman, the current president of Tamil Nadu Directors' Association, was asked about the issue in a press conference. He rubbished all the rumors that were circulated around. He said, "All rumors about the Kaththi issue are baseless. The producers are Tamilians from Sri Lanka. That's it."
