''I would like to surprise the audience with my character in Vijay 58''

Hardwork pays off and to prove that statement perfectly right we have this amazing female comedian who is taking the route of Manorama and Kovai Sarala. Yes, we are talking about Vidyullekha Raman. This young lady who has a lot of projects in hand is busy shooting and juggling between projects. She is currently shooting in Hyderabad for a Telugu movie. When we spoke to this sweet and humble person, she gave us a detailed update on her upcoming projects.

When asked about 'Vijay 58', she says

"I have been offered to work for Vijay sir's next movie. The experience is going to be amazing and different. My look in this movie is also different and I have a new look. After Jilla, I am working again with Vijay sir. I was remembered as the comedy cop with Soori in Jilla. I would like to surprise the audience with my character in 'Vijay 58'. I am starting shoot from December for the movie."

Apart from 'Vijay 58', she is working with Director Jawahar of Yaradi Nee Mohini fame. She plays an important role in the movie and it is a remake of the Malayalam movie, 'Thattathin Marayathu'. She also shares the screenspace with Suriya in Masss and has finished shooting for 'Taana'.

She is currently shooting for a Telugu movie as one of the leads. The movie is touted to be a horror-comedy.

"The movie revolves around 7 people who enter a haunted house. It is an out and out masala horror comedy film and I am playing one among the 7 people. I have been getting a lot of offers in Telugu to play lead roles. I am happy that I have been recognized as the next female comedian."

After Jilla and Veeram, Vidyu has been recognized for her character roles. She is being extra choosy in selecting her scripts.

"I am being extra-careful about choosing my scripts. Even if I am given a high profile offer, I will make sure that I have something to contribute to the movie. I do not want to be remembered as the heroine's friend. I would love to work in a movie which will enhance my acting skills and such are the movies I have been choosing.

Finally when asked about 'Thala 56', she says

"I did Veeram with Santhanam and Thala combination. It was a great experience. The Thala - Siva combination is coming back with 'Thala 56' and even Santhanam is in the movie. I would love to be a part of it but I have not been approached yet. If I am approached, I will be more than happy to do the movie if the script impresses me."

Looks like this young-comedy-ladio has her hands in a lot of places and we wish her a great success in her upcoming projects!
