''Without Tamil people's love and affection, I wouldn't be here'', Rajini

Close on the heels of his birthday on the 12th of December, Superstar Rajini was honored by NDTV as one among the 25 Greatest Global Living Legends. The others from the cinema space, who were honored include Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and A.R.Rahman.

At the event, Rajini was at his humble best and floored everyone with his short but very effective speech

"Many people don't believe in miracles but miracles do happen. An ordinary bus conductor sharing the dais with the greatest living legends is a miracle. Miracles do happen. I thank the President and NDTV for this prestigious award

I dedicate this award to my brother who is like my father and mother, my guru Balachander and also Tamil people. Without their love and affection I wouldn't be here"
