'Opening Song Giants' for Vijay's Jilla

Composer Imman has come out with an update which is sure to send Vijay fans and even music lovers in general, into a state of delight. The opening number in Jilla, which is set to be shot in Pollachi sometime soon, will feature the voices of S.P.Balasubramaniam and Shankar Mahadevan. The song will feature both Vijay and Mohanlal and hence the presence of these two powerhouse singers.

Imman referred to them as the 'opening song giants of Tamil cinema' as they have sung for all the mass heroes starting from Rajini down to the current generation's top stars. Both of them have already sung numerous songs for Vijay down the years. Remember 'Azhagooril Poothavale' and 'Naan Adicha Thaanga Maatta'?

Jilla is set to release on January 10th and the film's music is expected to be out by the middle of December.
