Endrendrum Punnagai - 'Vaan Engum Nee Minna' single track review

It is quintessentially Harris in the way the song's groove is structured. The beats might remind us of the legendary 'June Pona' track from Unnale Unnale. The track carries interesting lyrics, as expected, by Karky and they bubble with romance.  

 

A synth hook propels the song in the beginning and also at a few other points in the number. There is elegant work on the guitars and the little 'aa oo oo' segment adds a nice playful twist to the number.

 

'Oh Oh Priya' is a nice vocal hook and is ringtone material. On the whole, this is a breezy number by a group of vocalists - Aalap Raju, Harini with additional vocals by Devan and Pravin Saivi. Harini brings a nice classical style in her singing and this stands out.

 

Vaan Engum is bound to become a hit thanks to the good looking lead pair of Jiiva and Trisha and the glossy visuals. Check out the little video teaser of this number for a taste of the visuals.
