Just as Vanakkam Chennai began to trend on Twitter this morning, the core team of the film ranging from the producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, lead cast Shiva and Priya Anand, lyricist Madhan Karky and cameraman Richard Nathan were present along with the day’s hero and the film’s music director Anirudh Ravichander at a leading radio station.
 

The film’s music was released track by track, on-air this morning as the team got involved in a jovial discussion about the film and the music. The launch turned out to be a warm and fun affair as opposed to a glitsy gala evening, but with the kind of buzz that the team has managed to generate online and onground, it is safe to say that they have got the city’s attention.
