Vu is among the upcoming films with a really interesting title. Thambi Ramaiah leads the cast list which also comprises names such as Varun, Madhan Gopal and 'Smile' Selva.

Ashik directs this film which has music by Abhijith Ramaswami. Among the highlights of the movie would be a song sung by Thambi Ramaiah himself. This will mark his first attempt at playback singing as it was felt that his voice would be perfectly suited to the situation of the song. Murugan Manthiram has written the lyrics for this number which begins with the verses ‘Oru Padi Mele Oru Padi Keezhe’.

The title troubles experienced by Vu also seem to be a thing of the past, according to the director.
