After being awarded the Padma Shri recently, Sridevi hosted a party in Chennai for a close group of friends from the Tamil industry. It is being said that she had sent an invitation to Superstar Rajinikanth, with whom she shares a great friendship, but was not sure if he would turn up since she hadn’t got a response from his end.

But much to Sridevi’s surprise, and everyone else at the party, Rajini turned up and lit up the evening with his energy. He was seen sharing a laugh and spending time with the host and her better half Boney Kapoor. The guest list was supposedly a trim one, with around 50 members, which included Vivek who is apparently Sridevi’s favorite comedian.
