Balaji Tharaneetharan must be over the moon at the moment. His debut film Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom had just celebrated its 50^th day function after emerging as one of the dark horse films of 2012.

Following the success of the unassuming comedy, Balaji Tharaneetharan has just signed on the dotted line to do a film for Vasan Visual Ventures who fuelled films like Vandhan Vendran and Boss Engira Bhaskaran.

Balaji has told Behindwoods that he’s presently in the scripting stages and expects to take at least 3 months to finish the writing work. He said that only after the script is complete will he choose the lead characters. He also played his cards close to his chest when asked if the film will once again be a comedy.
