Malayalam actor Navya Nair made her Kodambakkam debut in Radha Mohan’s Azhagiya Theeye and has acted in films like Maaya Kannadi and Raman Thediya Seethai. Subsequent to her marriage with Santosh Menon and motherhood, the talented actress tapered down her acting assignments but is active in the television circuit.

She is planning to bring out a book written by her in Malayalam titled Navya Rasangal which is said to comprise experiences of her life. In a particular chapter, Navya recalls how she was so hateful of her younger brother because of the usual sibling rivalry and the insecurities that crop in, when one has to share parents’ love and attention. She states that her acrimony went beyond limits one day when she pushed her brother down and tried to kill him. Navya also avers that even her own parents are not aware of this till this point of time. Quite an honest confession!
