A single from the Vijay Sethupathy starrer, Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, was launched on the 26th of July at an event held at the Chennai Trade Center. What makes this song special is its words written by the legendary late poet, Vaali. This is among the few songs written by Vaali in his last days, and this made the launch of the song, all the more special and emotional. The response of the crowd to the song was also hearty. 

Justin Prabhakaran has composed music for the film and this particular song has been sung by S.P.Charan and Anu of Super Singer Junior fame. Jayaprakash, Sneha and Iyshwarya Rajesh are also cast in this film, which is based on the short film done by the director Arun Kumar himself.
