Latest buzz is that the foreign prints, which
are normally around 4 or 5 in earlier cases for
Jeeva's films, are 32 for Rameswaram. Surprised?
So is the industry on the whole. Reasons they
attribute to this is the sudden surge in demand
for this movie in particular, which is not just
an indication of Jeeva's fast growing fan base
overseas but also the premise of the film which
is about the plight of Tamil refugees. This has
received patronage from expatriate Tamils from
across the world. Only a few weeks before had
we reported that the song ‘Ellorayum Etri
Poga Kappal Varumaa’ from the movie had
created ripples among the Tamils from across the
world for its lyrics, even boosting the audio
sales in the process. Now everyone seems to be
waiting for the release of this film, the promos
of which seem promising.
