Normally films have a running time of two and a half hours and events that stretch across hundreds of years can be compressed to fit that time frame. But for the first time, a film will be made where events that transpire over a period of two and a half hours will be depicted. This film is Vetripadi and the plot is about a girl who challenges her father and informs him that she is going to run away and marry her lover and tells him to try and stop them if she can. The events from the time she challenges her father to the time she succeeds in her goal will be shown.
Vijayadas is the hero, writer, director and producer. He has also handled screenplay and dialogues. The heroine is Esther Joy. Vetripadi, not surprisingly is going to have a fast pace.
