The Tamil Film Producers Council will be holding their elections on October 9th. The council met on Sunday and appointed Ibrahim Rowther as the polling officer. It was decided that a police complaint would be lodged against members involved in the misappropriation of funds. Guilty parties will not be eligible to contest the elections and will be dealt with harshly.
The association has 750 registered members who will be turning up to cast their votes. President, SA Chandrasekhar briefed the press on the meeting and he said that this time they were determined to have clean elections. Members would not vote for those found guilty of swindling council funds.
