In the recently released trailer of Rendavathu Padam, Vijayalakshmi dared to go the glam way by doing a cross legged 'Basic Instinct' act a la Sharon Stone. When quizzed about her character in this movie, she says that she has an arrogant negative role and doesn't pay heed to anyone. She wanted to get a glamorous image makeover as she has played the homely family girl in many movies like Anjathey and Chennai 28.
She wanted to try glamour and here she is sending pulses racing, on the evidence of her shots in the trailer. In her next release Vana Yuddham, her character would be in stark contrast to her Rendavathu Padam role.
