Several film stars turned out at the polling booths to cast their vote. Kamal Haasan did not register his vote as he is out of town shooting for Viswaroopam. Likewise, Suriya and Karthi also did not cast their vote. However, their father and actor Siva Kumar was at the polling booth to vote.
Kushbhoo and Sundar C were at the Corporation School in Santhome to vote. Other actors and actresses who were spotted at the voting centers were Vivek, Sneha, T Rajendar, director RV Udayakumar etc.
