Osthi will not be a Diwali release as the music launch is yet to take place and a few other post-production works are still in progress. Industry sources say that film’s most probable release date would be November 18th.
Osthi was one of the most expected films for Diwali as it stars Silambarasan in the lead and the release date being put off at the last moment is a sort of disappointment for all movie buffs especially Silambarasan’s fans.
This film, incidentally, is a remake of the Hindi flick Dabangg. Richa plays Silambarasan’s onscreen pair in Osthi. Direction is by Dharani.
