It’s been a year since ‘Why this Kolaveri Di’ was first released on the net by Sony Music. This video featuring Dhanush, Anirudh, Aishwarya and Shruti turned out to be the biggest sensation in recent years. Till date, the video has garnered more than 64 million hits.
The mega hit song later featured in the movie 3 which released in early 2012. Today, Dhanush has thanked the media, his fans and all the viewers who saw his video, on the 1st anniversary of Kolaveri.
He is still not able to believe the status that Kolaveri has achieved. We must say, the accolades were well-deserved.
