In the recent times, Action King Arjun is making headlines for his promising projects that are lined up for release. The actor has already completed working on ‘Maasi’ in which he plays the role of an encounter specialist. He is sharing screen space with Ajith Kumar in ‘Mankatha’, in which he is said to be doing the role of a Crime Branch Officer. His breathtaking action sequences in the trailer of ‘Kaattu Puli’, a trilingual movie directed by Bollywood action choreographer Tinu Varma, have grabbed everyone’s attention.
With so many films ready to hit screens within the next few months, the producers of his Telugu movie ‘Hanuman Junction’ have dubbed the film in Tamil as ‘Singa Kottai’. It marked the debut directorial of Jeyam Raja in Telugu, who made the film in 2002 and it was a blockbuster. The film has famous Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu sharing the screen space with him in lead role while Sneha stars opposite Arjun as his ladylove.
Well, if you’ve perceived this film to be a direct film by Raja, you’re wrong. The film is a remake of Tamil movie ‘Thenkasipattanam’ (Sarath Kumar, Napoleon, Vivek), which in turn was remade from Malayalam movie with the same title (Suresh Gopi, Dileep and director Lal in lead roles).
