Leader of the Nadigar Sangam and MLA Sarathkumar, met Leader of the Opposition Vijaykanth. The former visited Captain with some of the other functionaries of the Nadigar Sangam - Vijayakumar, Nalini, and Fathima Babu.
They congratulated Vijaykanth on his good show at the elections and made a presentation to him. They also discussed some of the pressing problems faced by the film industry and strategies to counter it. Since Vijaykanth himself has headed the Nadigar Sangam, he was very understanding and promised his aid.
