Thenisai Thendral Deva, has composed a one song album in praise of Indian Women’s Kabaddi team which won the World Cup recently. The music director has also sung the song with his own granddaughter Laya Varshini. This peppy number is penned by Vivega. The lyrics goes like, “Sehwag, Tendulkar, Dhoni, ellarayum marandhuputtu konja neram va ni… Kabaddi aadudhappa malligai poo meni.” The song has been choreographed by Bobby master, and Deva has even shook his leg for the song.
The video song was recently screened in Erode in front of 4,000 Kabaddi players. During the event Deva said, “People play cricket, tennis, and volleyball. But Kabaddi is the only sport where you sing while you play. This is a traditional game of Tamil people”. He also added, “Of all the songs I have composed, this is the only song that has made me very happy and proud.” The song will soon be telecasted on Jaya TV.
