The news has been confirmed that director Ameer has been removed from Bharathiraja’s Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum. The buzz around the industry is that Ameer has been removed from the film due to his involvement in the FEFSI issue. However, director Bharathiraja has washed off this news as petty rumours. He reasoned that the script needed some changes which would not suit Ameer.
Earlier, Bharathiraja had signed Parthiban for the role. But he dropped Parthiban and replaced him with Ameer. Now, Manoj, son of Bharathiraja has replaced Ameer in the film.
The film also features Karthika Nair and veteran actress Roja in an important role. Kannan handles the camera and G V Prakash scores the music.
