STR is very excited about Vettai Mannan directed by Nelson and his heroines are Hansika and Deeksha Seth. He said that Nelson has been a friend since his school days and he even appeared on season 2 of Jodi No 1 as a judge only because Nelson was directing it. STR said that Nelson was making a technically sound film. He added that though it is a gangster film, it won't be serious and grim as the story has been told in a lighter vein.
The actor is teaming up with Ganesh so there will be laughs gallore. Yuvan is doing the music and as always STR will sing and write the lyrics for one of his tracks. It must be remembered that Loosu Penne (Vallavan) and Where is the party? (Silambattam) were composed by Yuvan and STR sang and wrote the lyrics for him. These tracks went on to become big hits and the duo will be hoping to recreate the magic.
