Veteran Malayalam actor Thilakan known for his performances in Tamil films like Kshatriyan, Suyetchai MLA has been hospitalized. On Tuesday night after he felt uneasy while putting on make up during the practice session of his play 'Itho Daivathinte Swantham Naadu' to be staged at Chirayinkil Sarkara temple the actor was rushed to the hospital.

He was admitted to Taluk hospital in Chirayinkil near Thiruvananthapuram and was later shifted to a private hospital. The doctor has assured that his condition is not serious but it warrants a lot of rest. The performance has been cancelled owing to his illness. We wish the actor a speedy recovery.
