First there was news that Amitabh Bachchan will play a small role in the Rajinikanth-starrer Rana. The latest is that with Rekha pulling out of this film recently, director KS Ravikumar has decided to cast evergreen actress Hemamalini in her place.
Hema is happy over playing the role and sharing the screen space with the Superstar and has reportedly agreed to the role, sources say. However, with the news about Rana’s star cast undergoing change with each passing day, we should wait for an official announcement from the filmmakers.
As of now, Rajini and Deepika Padukone have been confirmed to play the lead pair and the rest of the cast will be announced very soon.
