Panchu Arunachalam's Beemaratha Saanthi celebrations (70th birthday) were held in Chennai recently with great fanfare. Several celebrities from Kollywood were present at this occasion. Those who made it to this event and sought the blessings of the couple were Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Parthiban, Sneha, Jayam Ravi, Rama Narayanan, director-actor R Sunderrrajan, Pandiarajan, MS Bhaskar, Radha Ravi, SA Chandrasekar, RK Selvamani, Santhana Barathi and others.
Rajinikanth, who enjoys close rapport with Panchu Arunachalam, could not attend the function as he is in Singapore convalescing. Following this, his wife Latha Rajini had called Panchu Arunachalam and conveyed their inability to attend the function.
