Ajmal is not the one to shy away from pushing the envelope when it comes to experimenting with his roles. From his very first film in Anjathey to his turn as a baddie in Ko, he has chosen unconventional roles for himself. His next film is no different. Directed by debutant Rajaprabhu, who was Shankar's assistant, the film will be called Karupampatti.
Aparna Bajpai, the Easan babe will be his heroine. Ajmal gets to play a dual role and so does Aparna Bajpai. The last attempt of this sort was seen in Perazhagan with Suriya and Jo in double roles. It is going to be challenging, but Ajmal is ready to take it on.
