The entire Tamil film industry is shocked by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha’s answer when invited for a function to commemorate her victory. It was quite common during the previous DMK regime to hold such functions and the then CM M Karunanidhi welcomed it with open hands.
However, Jayalalitha seems to be averse to such functions. When FEFSI wanted to organize a grand function for the CM, she declined it by saying that she has enough work to do for the upliftment of the people and hence could not allocate dates for the function.
