Jai Akash’s film, Ayutha Porattam which has him in the lead role as well as wielding the directorial baton is a film based on the situation in Sri Lanka and had its audio release today. It was attended by Vijay Antony, Prabhu Solomon, and Kalaipuli Sekaran, who did the honors. The trailer was released by Thenappan.
The film has two leading ladies-Preethi and Anitha Reddy. Music has been composed by Nandha Raj. The story on the Sri Lankan issue demanded that the film be shot in that country but since permission was denied by government agencies the unit moved to Thailand for the shoot. The makers feel the film has come out well and said they will be releasing it soon.
