Top cinematographers are nowadays turning into directors. Santosh Sivan and his Urumi have been critically acclaimed and Ravi K Chandran is ready with his next script Yaan with Jiiva in the lead. Now to join the list is Enthiran’s director of photography R Rathnavelu aka Randy. We hear that he is working on the screenplay of his maiden directorial venture.
The cinematographer is presently busy with Haridas starring Kishore and Sneha, Bejoy Nambiar’s David starring Vikram and Jiiva, and a Telugu project starring Mahesh Babu in the lead. He is expected to start work on his own film soon after completing these projects.
