The title for Prabhu Deva-directed, Vishal-starrer film will be Vedi. This project was announced without a title and then during the shooting it was said that the working title would be Prabhakaran or Prabha.
But now the title has been finalized and it is Vedi. Interestingly, there was an announcement that Vikram would star in a film titled Vedi some months ago and later it was announced that director Bhoopathy Pandian would direct Vishal in Vedi but this did not happen for various reasons.
Therefore, Prabhu Deva decided to lap up the title which was apparently up for grabs now. Vedi is produced by GK Films, the home production of Vishal and has Sameera Reddy playing his heroine.
