Jai and Anjali have become one of the hottest onscreen couples post Engeyum Eppothum. This sparked rumors about an alleged romantic involvement between the two. Both denied such reports hotly. Now the two of them have been approached by Manjunath, who used to assist Ram Gopal Verma.
Manjunath was impressed with their sizzling chemistry in Engeyum Eppothum and felt they would be perfect for a film he is making which will be a bilingual and released in Tamil and Telugu. Both were hesitant because of media speculation about their relationship but agreed to do the film as it has a very good script.
