Boopathy Pandian, who has directed Vishal in Malakottai, will team up with him once again for their next film titled Pattathu Yaanai. The director was supposed to direct Vikram in the movie Vedi but ended up having unexpected fallout with the hero and the project was shelved. He is said to have been looking for a suitable hero for his new script and has zeroed down on Vishal who accepted the offer. Boopathy Pandian shot to fame with the Dhanush-Shriya starrer Thiruvilayadal Aarambam which was a surprise hit that year. He has also directed Devathaiyai Kanden and Kadhal Solla Vanthen. Vishal has now wrapped up the shoot of Bala’s Avan Ivan and will start working on the film soon.
