Amitabh Bachchan's recovery is smooth after his surgery, said son Abishek Bachchan to media persons. His superstar dad had experienced acute abdominal pain while shooting and the doctors at SevenHills Hospital had advised surgery. The surgical procedure took 2 - 3 hours and went off smoothly.
After keeping him under observation in the hospital, doctors have given him a clean bill of health and said that Amitabh can be taken home. It is expected that Amitabh will be taking time off to rest and recuperate before returning to his hectic schedule.
