Post the successful run of Ramana in 2002, A.R. Murugadoss was supposed to work with Vikram under Aascar Ravichandran’s production again. But, the expectations that both Vikram and Murugadoss had from one another resulted in this project failing to materialize in reality.

The script that Murugadoss narrated to Vikram didn't meet the expectations and perceptions that Vikram had from ‘brand’ Murugadoss while Murugadoss wished to show Vikram in a certain manner which didn’t earn the approval of the actor.

After this near miss, will this high-octane combo unite in future?
