Balaji Sakthivel's much awaited film Vazhakku Enn -18/9 has been censored with a UA certificate. The Lingusamy produced film is expected to hit the theatres on May 4. Earlier there were plans to release the film in the last week of April. The film stars newcomers Mithun, Sri, Urmila and Manisha in the lead roles and is just one hour and 55 minutes long.
Guitarist Prasanna, who did the music for Oscar winning documentary Smile Pinky has scored the music for the film and the film has just two songs of which one is a title song. The director known for his film-making based on real-life incidents has earlier revealed that this time the climax of the film alone is based on a real-life incident.
