The producers of The Dirty Picture are keen to cast Anushka in it as they feel she is perfect for it. Her representative has said that she will not be doing the role, as she has absolutely no dates and is busy with a number of projects in Tamil and Telugu. Currently, she is doing Thaandavam with Vikram, Irandam Ulagam with Arya, and Alex Pandian with Karthi in Tamil.
The makers of The Dirty Picture are very disappointed. They are hunting for someone else now for the role which was inspired by Silk Smitha and got Vidya Balan a National award and earned her comparisons to the Khans.
