Reports about his rate have been ambiguous.
Is it 1 crore? Some say he was paid only
less than 1 crore for his Thotti Jaya but,
after the movie ran well, he was paid some
additional amount. His papa T Rajendar burnt
his fingers severely by Simbu’s Pongal
release Saravana. The guy is now purely
banking on Vallavan, of which he himself
is the director. For his next flick he is
said to have received an advance of 50 lakhs
from Lakshmi Movie Makers and searching
for a good director. |

This small and puny TNT started with a bang
with three continuous hits. His rate touched
3 crores but then, all came tumbling down
with a series of flops. For his latest flick
Pudhupaettai he was paid 75 lakhs and for
Thiruvilaiyaadal, 90 lakhs. Now everything
will depend upon the hits he will manage
to pull out. Otherwise, he has to remain
satisfied with the status Son-in-law of
the Superstar. |

and college girls. Arindhum Ariyamalum shot
this guy to fame and expectations rised.
Alas, his next films Oru Kallooriyin Kadhai
and Kalabakkadhalan bombed miserably at
the box-office. If it had been a hit, his
rate would have shot up to one crore. But
again, Pattiyal has put this guy at top.
But the guy who is cautious, is said to
have received only 48 lakhs for his next
film Auto, in which he pairs with Pooja. |
