Hi...........

I am in USA and happened to watch Mankatha recently...............missed the Chennai crowd really...........

Man, this Venkat Prabhu has a sure Midas touch.............a simple story said in a most stylish way...........and to carry forward this simple story is the ultimate task and our ultimate star has made it with ease.............ufffffffffffffff...what a performance by Ajith............couldn’t believe the same Ajith who did Amaravathi...couldn’t believe the same Ajith who did Uyorodu Uyiraaga....he has come a long way from his initial stages and he is now reached a stage which is the epitome I should say.............right from the first  fighting scene to the climax word "game over", it is his game.....and he has played his game with perfection....

When people dare to take negative shades/characters in their movies, here is one ultimate star who takes risk like taking rusk (thalai ku risk edukardhu na rusk saapidra mathiri) and as a pucca villain/hero he has taken the movie to the success...........the scene before the intermission where he plays the chess is his best and it is the movie's best!!!

Arjun, the action king is another asset for Mankatha (remember Nagarjuna was supposed to play this and we are glad that action king took this role at last)...a tailor made role for him and he has given his best and kudos to the captain for giving equal importance to him as well...

Other characters - first male - has been given good chance and they have used it to their best.....Prem as Prem is cool..............the scene where he essays like Chitti is damn good....Vaibhav, Mahath and Ashwin (another smart guy for Tamil cinema) did their parts vey well.......

Coming to lady leads..is there any??? Trisha, Anjali, Andrea and Lakshmi Rai.....the fearsome four but nothing more for them...but a big thanks to those for accepting to act in this "only boys" movie...hats off to them as well.......out of all, as usual, Trisha is cute and bubbly...her own dubbing added more value in this movie.....Ma'am, please follow this, your voice is great!!
Coming to the supporting staff - music, camera, stunt - HATS OFF to one and all for bringing the Venkat's story to reality.....but too many songs in the movie, could have trimmed one or two......the captain of the shop, the man, the machine and now the mottai boss - the great Venkat Prabhu...............kalakkalo kalakkal...................when the movie started with the IPL thing, I thought its going to be a sequel to chennai-28, but not even a single scene showed a scene of cricket...this clearly shows his maturity as a director........hats off Venkat.....

Really enjoyed watching Mankatha and after going to Chennai, will definitely watch Mankatha in theatres for sure!!!
