Vijay - Bathri:
Thammdu was the Telugu movie which was remade for Vijay with the name Bathri in Tamil. Bhavan Kalyan and Preity were the lead role in Telugu and Monal, Bhoomika in Tamil. Ramana Gokula scored the songs for both the movies. The movie which was a decent hit in both languages was released in 1999 and 2001 in Telugu and Tamil respectively.
