Lingusamy’s Vettai brought the chocolate boy Madhavan from the north of the Vindhyas back to his home turf after a while. This no-holds-barred commercial entertainer had an ensemble cast of Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul. Lingusamy had rightly packaged romance, action, comedy, glamour and sentiment in Vettai that had resulted in a jolly good time for the audience at the theatres.
