The album of Maattrraan released amid huge expectations thanks to the success of previous Anand – Harris films like Ko and Ayan. The album received mixed reviews. But post the movie’s release, the album picked up thanks to the picturization and numbers like Theeye Theeye, Nani Koni and Rettai Kadhire became ‘hits’.
